Riding Camps

Carriage Hill Farm's Riding Camps are designed for children to learn how to ride and care for horses with lots of activities and lots of fun! In addition to Daily Riding Lessons, Campers will learn: Horse Anatomy, Breeds, Conformation, Markings, and of course, make new friends with both horses and people!

Daily Life at Camp:

•Grooming, Bathing, Coat Care
•Hoof Care, Shoeing (Farrier Demonstration)
•Learning about Tack: 
    Saddles & Bridles; Care and Use
•Understanding Horse Behavior and Body Language
•Leading, Walking, and Handling Your Horse
•Photos with Your Horse, 
•Crafts and Games
•Tons of FUN with New Friends

We provide "ASTM" approved safety helmets, grooming supplies, art supplies, and of course, the horse!

2023 Summer Sessions:

Session 1: June 5-9 - SOLD OUT
Session 2: June 19-23
Session 3: July 17-21
Session 4: July 31-August 4

Camps run daily from 9AM - 2:00PM, Monday through Friday.
Reservation and Deposit Required - Space is limited.

Cost:

$450 per session. This is due on or before the first day of each session. CHF also requires a non-refundable deposit. *Aftercare fees do apply for any camper picked up after 2:00pm*

For our horse owners:

CHF provides an on the road camp experience! Come travel with us as we head to Tryon, NC, Traverse City, MI, Lexington, KY, Venice, FL and all of the major indoor finals throughout the early fall!
