RIDING CAMPS

 
Trainer Tricia Loftus & Spring Break Campers

Carriage Hill Farm’s Riding Camps are designed for children
to learn how to ride and care for horses with lots of activities
and lots of fun.

In addition of Daily Riding Lessons, Campers will Learn:
Horse Anatomy, Breeds, Conformations and Markings,
and of course, make new friends, with both horses and people!


Daily life of a horse:
•Care, Safety and good "Horse Sense"
•Grooming, Bathing, Coat Care
•Hoof Care, Shoeing (Farrier Demonstration)
•Learning about Tack:
    Saddles & Bridles; Care and Use
•Understanding Horse Behavior
    and Body Language
•Leading, Walking, and Handling Your Horse
•Photos with Your Horse,
•Crafts and Games
•Tons of FUN with New Friends

and mixed in we have:
A "Graduation" Horseshow and
Awards Ceremony at the end
of each Summer Session

Optional:
•Additional Private & Group Lessons
•Horse Shows
•Gift Certificates for Lessons or Camps
•Birthday Parties



 

We provide "astm" approved safety
helmets, grooming supplies,
art supplies, and of course,
the horses!

In July we will go to Venice, FL. for "Camp" at Fox Lea Farm. Please call for information and estimated costs. Reservation and deposit are required to guarantee hotel & stall space.
